Should I wait for the 7th night of the month before saying birkat halevana? Should I wait until Saturday night? When’s the earliest I could say birkat halevana?
There’s no need to wait 7 days to say the blessing on the Levanah. As soon as you see the new moon you can say the blessing. It usually takes a couple of days before you can see.

The Shulchan Aruch says to wait 7 days and the Achronim say to wait 3 days.
Is this a third opinion?

Fascinating Teshuvah! What’s the bottom line?
The Rabbi would say it at the earliest time and never waited until a specific number of days…
