Can we do hágala on cast iron?
It depends.
If it is a pot and was used with water then yes.
If it’s a seasoned pot all the seasoning would have to be removed first, akin to rust.

Following up- I have a different brand cast iron glazed enamel pot, used in different ways ( soup, searing, and finishing off in the oven) I’ve already pre cleaned it up using the special enamel cleaner - do I need to boil water in it ? Or do I put in the oven? It’s a 4qt one to kosher it for Passover thanks so much!
Put it in the oven on a high temp (at least as hot as you use it) for half an hour.
