I saw the response about reading a newspaper on shabbos. Am I allowed to talk about non Torah related topics such as politics on shabbos? And if it depends what are some examples of what would and what wouldn’t be ok to talk about.
Talking is different than reading.
There are laws regarding what speech is forbidden in Shabbat such as plans for after Shabbat etc.
