I know the Rav was upset at all these “Torah papers” given out in shuls that end up littering the coat room floors and all over, even years back when it began with
“Torah Lo-dust”.
It was such a bizayon Hakedusha that he even uttered that since they had no right to print Torah that they knew would be trodden underfoot, SO IT ACTUALLY HAD NO KEDUSHA!
I’m in Flatbush now, and I let my wife do the ‘dirty work’ of disposing of the FJJ weekly paper into the trash.
What’s your mesora from the Rav? Please tell me he allows chucking this stuff (ok, in a bag)!!!
If its purely Divrei Torah, so even though it may not be allowed to be printed, it is still kadosh and needs to be taken care of properly by burying it in the ground or giving it to a shaimos service. Newspapers with divrei Torah, the Rav mainatiend that it is enough to place in a plastic bag and dispose of in the regular trash can.
