I’m staying in a hotel that gives me a $10/day credit to use on in-hotel purchases. I cannot use the credit as cash or anywhere besides hotel concessions.
Can I get an uncooked item, such as a bottle of water or yogurt, from the hotel’s to-go cafe on shabbat? To do so, I will need to provide my room number for them to deduct from the credit, but they won’t require a credit card, ID, or room key.
