Velveeta Cheese

Is Velveeta kosher? I’ve had diffculty following the cheese discussions here, but it would seem that since Velveeta is not a traditional form of cheese (and in fact is not considered cheese at all according to the USDA) it shouldn’t be a problem. The ingredients are as follows (http://www.kraftrecipes.com/products/velveeta-original-cheese-16-oz--2244.aspx):

MILK, WHEY, SKIM MILK, MILK PROTEIN CONCENTRATE, WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE, MILKFAT, SODIUM PHOSPHATE, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, SALT, CALCIUM PHOSPHATE, CANOLA OIL, MALTODEXTRIN, LACTIC ACID, SORBIC ACID AS A PRESERVATIVE, SODIUM ALGINATE, SODIUM CITRATE, CHEESE CULTURE, ENZYMES, APOCAROTENAL AND ANNATTO (COLOR)

Not clear on this

Thank you for the response. Is there additional information I can provide?
