Shabbat can we use a standard water hurn without shabbos mode ? So it is not constantly boiling but just reboiling when temperature falls to a specific threshold (above yad soledet bo)
If necessary I ask from an ashkenazi perspective where liquid can be reheat if still quite hot
You may use a hot water urn on Shabbat even without Sabbath mode. But if the mechanism to pump the water out is electric that is a problem.
An urn like this is ok to use on Shabbat even though it does not have a sabbath mode.
An urn like this would be a problem to use the button to pump the water out. You would need to use the press/manual pump to get the water out on Shabbat.
