When to wash in the morning

I like to take a shower first thing in the morning. Is it okay to do this before washing hands?

also should netliyas yadayim, asher yatzar, and elohai neshama be said right after washing?

Yes.

No.

Ideally when you are all dressed, have your shoes on and ready to pray that is when you should make all these brochos.
Alternatively if you would like to wait till you arrive in shul that is acceptable as well.

So it is acceptable to have a hefsek between washing and saying the brachos? Waiting until going to shul can be a very long gap, sometimes an hour or more.

The answer provided was based on the assumption that you would be going to shul presumably after being dressed etc.

If your intentions are rather to learn at home, or some otherwise permitted hefsek, then you should say them prior.
