Wood cutting board

It’s never occurred to me before, but suddenly I’m wondering if my wood cutting board which I use every day for cutting vegetables, fruit and bread can be used on Pesach since it’s never been used for cutting or slicing anything hot off the fire. I have, however, put toasted bread and English muffins on it.

Thank you.

And as this I expect to be my last post before Yom Tov, I’d like to thank you all for all the work and truly sage advice that you offer us all. Wishing you and your families a Chag Sameach.

Thank you. You too.

As long as it can be cleaned well, it’s fine.

If a wood cutting board was used to cut meat and other Hametz how would one go about kashering it?

What about plastic cutting boards that also had hot items on them?

Thank you!

It needs a good cleaning. Depending on the cuts in the board it may not be possible. Hard to know…
If used for hot food, it would need Hagalah.
