Should a person wear wool tzitzit?

People wear wool tzitzit because they want to be doing a מצוה דאורייתא according to all opinions. Is it a worthwile chumra to keep?
That’s totally up to you. I never heard the Rabbi encourage anyone to wear wool. As a matter of fact, he would occassionally give out Tzitzit and they were cotton.
The Rabbi himself did wear wool as I recall.

About 20 years ago @Mbitton showed the Rabbi woolen tzitit that were very light weight and comfortable. The Rabbi liked it and ask him to purchase several pairs for himself.
Other than that, the Rabbi didn’t wear woolen.
