What is the shita of Rav Abadi for defining Alot Hashachar and Misheyakir ?
Degrees or fixed times ? And then which values does he use or recommend ?
The Rav uses sha’ot zemaniot, which is calculated by taking the amount of daylight between sunrise and sunset and dividing it by 12. Each unit is one Sha’ah zemanit. Alot Hashachar is 1 and 1/5 of one Sha’ah zemanit before sunrise.
