Can the Starbucks kosher whipped cream be used if the containers are cleaned with treif?
What do you mean it’s cleaned with treif? That would mean its dirty, not clean.
I spoke to a guy at the counter (Starbucks on Kings Highway) and he said they wash everything together. That Starbucks (and I’m sure all of them) serves actual treif…the containers with the treif drinks and I’m assuming the tongs that handle the treif sandwiches, and the containers that they make the whipped cream in…(they make their own whipped cream with heavy cream that’s kosher…)I’m assuming are all washed together…so kosher and treif…
Washing meat and dairy dishes in a dishwasher at the same time is not an issue. The same would apply to Starbucks where they clean kosher and “treif” utensils together.
